For as long as I can remember, I have been enthralled with all things beauty and fashion.  I likely inherited this from my mom, whom I’m pretty sure wore heels on the way to the hospital before going into labour with me.  When someone asks me, “how can you walk in those?!” the answer is simple: Genetics.  My mom taught me to take pride in myself, and that I am worthy of my own time.  And I learned that caring for myself will afford me the ability to help take care of others.

Since graduating from the Alberta College of Art and Design with a BA in Commercial Photography in 2001,  I have worked for Maxim and Stuff Magazines in New York City, I’ve owned a salon and photography studio in Calgary, and I’ve worked as a hair, makeup, and wardrobe stylist for film and television.

Currently, I’m a photographer and art director, makeup artist, a personal shopping / styling consultant, and a public speaker on the topics of fashion, beauty perspectives and body positivity.

I live in Calgary with my husband and son.
